Meet Raven's Dance
A classic 1985 Nauticat 43 Finnish motorsailer with all-teak interior, built for comfort and adventure in Alaska's pristine waters.
Beautiful, Safe, Roomy & Solid
Raven's Dance is a Nauticat 43, hull number 56, built in Finland by Sitala Yachts. She is a ketch rigged pilothouse, 46 feet long overall including her bowsprit—built to handle the cold and boisterous conditions found in the Baltic and North Sea.
Her motion in a seaway is steady and very comfortable, and her beautiful teak pilothouse is a warm inviting area to gather for meals and relaxed conversations, or under sail while cruising to your next destination. Charter the entire vessel with just you and your select guests—four recommended, six maximum—for the most comfortable and personal experience.
Unlike many sailboats in the 40 to 50 foot range that try to cram as many cabins as possible into the hull, Raven's Dance offers genuinely spacious accommodations. Her aft stateroom is marvelous, with seating areas and ample storage—not a cramped "coffin-sized" cabin.

The Teak Pilothouse
What sets the Nauticat apart from other sailing vessels is her beautiful teak pilothouse—a warm, inviting area to gather for meals, enjoy relaxed conversations, or watch the scenery unfold under sail while cruising to your next destination.
- 360° Visibility — Panoramic windows provide unobstructed views while staying warm and dry inside.
- 50,000 BTU Heating — Our diesel hydronic furnace with heat exchangers throughout makes for a cozy, dry home in any weather.
- Social Hub — Gather around the table for fine food and drink after a long day of exploring—the pilothouse is the heart of the boat.
- Hydraulic Dinghy Lift — No climbing ladders! We lower the dinghy, then the lift platform functions as an elevator—walk through the stern gate and ride down.
